We need your help to honor the trails—and the person who made them possible.
We’re asking everyone who has ever stepped foot on the trails at the Dublin School Outdoor Center to be part of something special.
Brad isn’t just part of the story—he’s the mastermind behind it. The vision, the design, the persistence… he created a place that has become the heart of this community, and a desired location for nordic skiing.
After 17 incredible years as Dublin School’s Head of School, Brad Bates is moving on, and before that we want to create something special for him to bring.
And those trails? They’ve seen everything—wobbly first ski strides, race-day intensity, spectacular wipeouts, quiet walks, bike rides, and countless miles of connection.
Now it’s our turn to give something back.
We’re creating a photo memory book filled with stories and moments from everyone who has experienced the trails—skiers, walkers, bikers, racers, coaches, volunteers, families… all of it.
If the trails have been part of your life, we’d love your contribution:
• A short memory, thank you, or story
• 1–2 photos from your time on the trails
Funny, heartfelt, chaotic, proud—it all belongs here. And you don’t need to know Brad personally… if you’ve been on those trails, you’ve been part of his impact.
Let’s show him what he built—and what it has meant to all of us.
Please submit by April 25th, and pass this along to everyone. We’ll try to keep it a secret. Try is the key word.
