Make sure to grab that thermus at the end of practice the week before yours. While we encourage kids to bring re-usable mugs we will also provite paper cups. Please bring your trash home.

Use this directly to meet up with other members. The trails are free to ski, and we stronly encourage everyone gets out skiing more than once a week.

BAND

We use a free software to easily connect with the team. Important last minute notifications will be posted to BAND. You’ll also see other club members selling gear through there. We ask all parents check for practice updates here. It’s not always easy for our coaches to send mass emails as it is to post to BAND. If you don’t want to use this software please let Lindsey know.

Junior Prep Program: This is for only second-year U14s. In an effort to help with the transition to the junior program, this group is invited to train on Tuesdays with the junior program. Thursday you join the BKL group. Please call Lindsey 603-554-6757 with any questions.

New Hampshire Nordic Mini-Festival run by NENSA (New England Nordic Ski Association): March 5-6- a fun event to attend to book end our season! https://nensa.net/bkl-festival/

GEAR: As previously shared in the email regarding equipment, ski gear seems to be in high demand this season. We encourage your skiers to try on last year’s boots and see what needs they have. If you have gear to sell or are looking to purchase used equipment, please use our Dublin XC BAND App to share this information with fellow members (see Notes). We are not able to gather for an in-person ski swap this year, but hope you can connect virtually.

For our skiers grades 3-8, we will be skiing in both classic and skate techniques. Grade K-2 is classic only. Most of our BKL skiers use NNN style ski bindings that fit with NNN boots. If you are purchasing used gear, make sure you are aware of boot/binding type.
