Once a week: All grade levels K-8: Thursdays 4:30pm - 5:30pm @ Dublin Nordic Center starting January 9th - March 6th
Middle School/Junior Prep Program: This is for only second-year U14s. Tuesday & Thursday 4:30pm – 5:30pm. This is only for middle school (grades 5-8th). For those second-year U14s skiers they will do some practices with our Junior’s group; to help with the transition to the junior program. This group will join in on Thursday’s BKL practice as well. Both classic and skate equipment are needed for this group. Please call Lindsey 603-554-6757 with any questions.
Used gear from the team - some post to BAND (see next toggle for this info) and we're trying the excel sheet for those who aren't comfortable with BAND. excel sheet here
Gear donations - email lindsey@dublinxc.com to coordinate.
West Hill - Putney VT - Team discount - they have inventory, new & used, and can outfit kids
For our skiers grades 3-8, we will be skiing in both classic and skate techniques. Grade K-2 is classic only. Most of our BKL skiers use NNN style ski bindings that fit with NNN boots. If you are purchasing used gear, make sure you are aware of boot/binding type.
Both classic & skate skies. Suggest getting combi boots to work with both. What is the difference between classic & skate? Take a look at this video explanation
TEAM SOCIAL APP and easy updates
We use free software to easily connect with the team. Important last-minute notifications will be posted to BAND. You'll also see other club members selling gear there. We ask all parents to check for practice updates here. It's not always easy for our coaches to send mass emails as it is to post to BAND. If you don't want to use this software please let Lindsey know.
This is last year's (2022 season) directory. Use this directly to meet up with other members. The trails are free to ski, and we strongly encourage everyone to get out skiing more than once a week.
For everyones privacy we have password protected the directory page. Email Lindsey for password.
BRING A REUSABLE MUG IF YOU CAN!
At the end of every practice we ski for Hot Chocolate, and it's perhaps the reason some kids come. We look for parents' help to make this happen. We have a team thermus. Make sure to grab that thermus at the end of practice the week before yours. While we encourage kids to bring reusable mugs we will also provide paper cups. Please bring your trash home. Signup sheet to come!
Our DXC youth program is run entirely by volunteers, current parents, past parents, Dublin School staff, and community members.
Active parent participation ensures a successful season. We ask that all parents find a way to participate, even if in a small way.
Huge Thank you to our current list of volunteer coaches. Contact lindsey@dublinxc.com if you would like join in.
